With Zarafa on the 1A server, it is also possible to configure an Out of Office message for when you go on holiday or are absent for the day. This is easily configured with the webmail clients WebApp or WebAccess or in Microsoft Outlook.
When you activate the Out of Office message, e-mail messages to addresses of which you are the only recipient will be replied to, per sender address once every 24 hours. E-mail messages to addresses which have multiple recipients will not be replied to.

WebApp
- Click “Settings” in the right top corner
- Click “Out of Office”
- Choose “I am currently out of the office”
- Enter a “Subject”
- Write your Out of Office message in the text field
- Click “Apply” in the right bottom corner

WebAccess
- Click “settings” in the right bottom corner
- Go to tab “Out of Office”
- Choose “I am currently out of the office”
- Enter a “Subject”
- Write your Out of Office message in the text field
- Click “Save” in the left top corner

Outlook
- Go to tab “Zarafa”
- Click on the “Out of Office Assistant”
- Choose “I am currently out of the office”
- Enter a “Subject”
- Write your Out of Office message in the text field
- Click “Save” in the right bottom corner
