Automatic cleanup of the network recycle bin

If you store files on your server, you do so on the so-called shares. These already had the option to retain deleted files in a network recycle bin. Now it is also possible to clean it automatically.

This option must first be enabled by your 1A-partner. Then, you can specify per share whether you want to automatically clean up the network recycle bin and after which time the files must be deleted permanently.

This is done with the checkbox “automatic recycle bin cleanup”. The interval can be set from one day to six months. Files that have been in the network recycle bin for longer than the set time are deleted.
